Welcome to
Blast Beach

Our journey starts at Noses Point.

We will explore the clues that inform us of rivers, deltas, tropical seas and ice ages over the Carboniferous, Permian and Quaternary Periods.

Blast Beach is famous for it’s coal mining story. Here we will find evidence of that mining history and explore the impact that coal waste has had on the coastline.
